September 2010 Desktop Wallpaper

I think so much of what makes photography interesting isn’t so much the quest for the perfect sunset, lighting, or rare opportunity. All those things are great and when the stars align some really cool things can happen.
What makes photography interesting to me, is finding the potential to turn something that may be totally ordinary into something interesting. Finding the right angle or perspective that gives something that’s otherwise totally dull an exciting perspective.

So, here’s my non-nature, real-community, Wizard of Oz inspired desktop wallpaper. The source is the statue for the Tin Man roofing & metal company over in the industrial section of town.
Quirky & simple yet, it represents a different aspect of Steamboat and photography.

This month’s wallpaper pack features 3 standard computer screen sizes plus an iPad version. Each size comes with an option of displaying a pixel perfect digital calendar to help you keep the trains running on time.
Bonus: This set also includes iPad and iPhone compatible versions.
